Michael Drentea is PR professional and Owner of Marquee Music Group. An artist, producer, songwriter, writer and photographer, Drentea has been published in countless major national publications.
Drentea worked with many major artist including The Black Keys, The Wombats, All American Rejects, Katy Perry, Pink, Wiz Khalifa, Post Malone, Imagine Dragons, Ms. Lauryn Hill, NAS, Ice Cube, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, Halsey, Gucci Mane, Jewel, Logic, G-Eazy, Lil Uzi Vert, Billy Idol, Tom Petty. Engineers Bernie Grundman and Big Jerm and countless other Grammy Award winning and nominated artist, producers, sound engineers and singer songwriters across the entertainment industry.
Considered for nomination for the 2018 First Annual Chip Hooper Award at the Billboard Live Music Summit & Awards, for his dedication towards the development of many new artists careers.
Drentea was considered for nomination at the 2017 MTV VMAs & BET Music Awards as co-producer of song “Love Me Down” by Marquee artist, Willy Flee.
A guest lecturer at California State University, San Marcos (CSUSM), and University of California, San Diego, Drentea is a 2019 Media Studies graduate at CSUSM with a Minor in Communication, and holds multiple A.A. degrees in both Communication, and Arts & Humanities. Drentea also has a Certificate of Achievement in “Business of Music” from Miracosta College.
Drentea is also a member of four academic honor societies and a direct descendant of Napolean Bonaparte and Prime Minister Gonsalves and worked as former V.P. of A&R at Pacific Records before creating independent record label, Marquee Music Group.
